Malevolent netflix original (2018)
So this is kind of a horrormovie, and I watched, I have to watch
the alienist a bit more so I can produce more articles about it and
finish it by the end of the month or something an finish up other
netflix series and other movies and shit
But anyway, lets go to the movie and my review of it, so the story is about a band of youths 2 of them being brother and sister that have been orphanaged seemingly. The mother killed herself because she was seeing ghost and we never hear about the father anyway but there is a grandfather (who happens to be the father of the sibling's mother).
They have this scamming bussiness going on you see, an idea of the brother and they have this group of a couple of people and they scam people who supposedly have a haunted house and drive the spirit away. The thing is with this movie that with this movie we are thrown into the middle of the scamming and stuff. Until this one case where the tale of her mother turns out to be true, that she could see ghosts and other people that supposedly aren't there that the sister has inherited it had she starts to have nightmares about her mother.
But then this job comes trough where everything is 100% true and they can't scam the lady of the house who hears the screams of dead girls her son murdered a while ago, and they keep screaming her hers of for over 15 years and once the lady finds out they're scammers, its already to late for the sister and the cameraman becuase they're already at the place where the girls where kept. They kinda fall trough the roof and now they have to get out.
The entire thing goes haywire and shit the lady of the house reveals her insanity and they try to escape but they fail becauseof seeing the girls they crash in their car, the brothers girlfriend dies instantly because of the crash and it is shown what happened to the girls in reality that the mother and son were in league the whole time and by killing the pair, the girls were at peace and they got the fuck out of there the sister and camaraman.
The movie kind of has a vague ending which is kind of to be expected of this kind of movie but I like it that there are no jumpscares in this movie whatsoever even with ghosts and stuff I like that, even tough there where kind of horrifying moments in the movie itself and I tought there would be a alot of them in this movie as is tradition in this kind of movies, at least the modern kind. I give this movie 8/10!
