Rick and morty Season 1 episode 1-3

Hello there people, you know the drill, this is the overview of all the articles written about Rick and Morty, the first season.

Rick and morty Season 1 episode 1

Yes I know I haven't finished the latest season of southpark but I watched the first episode of Rick and morty just to check it out but thisi s kind of a review just to get some original content, you feel me?  oh and by the way this is only a quick summary on the plot :)

So the plot of this episode is pretty simple, alcoholic grandfather takes grandson on an adventure to take seeds, Morty (the grandson) breaks the legs, trying to recieve these seeds and Rick goes on interdimensional travel to get some medicin for his legs causing his interdimensional portal opener to deplete (he has been staying there for to long) and because of this they need to get trough interdimensional costums and morty needs to shove the seed (which are way to big to fit) in his but

Meanwhile a plot happens that mort has been to school to few and has almost spent the entire semester absent because of eirlier adventures with his grandfather and the father of Morty wants to move rick  into a nursery home.  but then as they're moving him (moving his stuff not him yet because he arrives then) he is able to convince Morty's parents to let him stay and let him keep his adventures with Morty (because of a trick he used with the seeds)



My opinion on the pilot episode is that you jump right in there is no vaseline whatsoever and you get just thrown into the universe and thats it if you compare it with other pilots the characters get introduced one by one but not this pilot this is just here you go heres the pilot get to it. But it is your not stereotypical cartoon that is why I am not only giving the pilot episode because of the story  but also for the weirdness a 9/10

Rick and morty s1e2: Lawnmower dog

Hello there,

this episode was strange so this is going to be as straightforward as I can be which is going to be difficult
Rick wants to go an adventure with Morty to give him A's on his math things but his son in law stops him because the dog just peed on the carpet and he forces Rick to make something so the dog becomes smarter.
The thing is that he becomes self aware so much he empowers the helmet so hard that he is smarter than a human being now and dreams about revolution.



Well in actuality the entire episode revolves around dreams and fucks up quite hard in the meaning that it doesn't make any sense, like inception and it quickly becomes a dream within a dream within a dream but eventually they escape with the help of a guy based on the guy from a nightmare on elm street. They soon discover that the dog has take n over the house hold and then for some reason wer in the dream of the family dog without any proper transition.
They plant ideas in so they don't become like humans while controlling mankind and eventually yhey g to another dimension where they can live happily ever after.



My opinion of this episode is that it doesn't make sense. There is no progression on the family issues but just the adventure stops as soon as it started. I give this episode a 6/10 lawnmoyers because it confuses the fuck out of me.

Rick and morty S1E3: anatomy park

Hello there,

This episode is clearly based on jurassic park (we know that even just by looking at the title of the episode) but lets go into the plot shall we?

so the setting is at christmas and rick brings home a homeless guy, the rest of the family had other plans namely having a family dinner, with the parents of Morty coming over for christmas. 

A surprise was waiting for Morty's father (whos name I can't remember for some reason). His parents have picked up some black guy who turns out to be his mother new lover.



Meanwhile Morty is injected into the homeless guy's body and turns out Rick has build an entire themepark inside Ruben's body. Morty is tasked with fiding some kind of cellular doctor and his team of assistance who he finds in the haunted part of the themepark.
things go pretty sour from here on out, as they go on a search of what is wrong with the body, the oxygensupply is kinda low, because apparently the homelessguy has a case of tubercolis and  because of that the defenses against the diseases has been shut down.



They have to complete a journey trough a digestive track to make it out, but because of reasons Rick can't evacuate them but on one route, going to space enlarging the homeless guy and simply evacuate them from the left nipple.
The entire body is displated above the USA and everyone can see the body. By the way the doctor gets betrayed by this rambo type guy and he is pretty much the reason why the normal evacuation plan didn't go trough.



My opinion on the matter is that the storylines like in the other 2 episode is pretty much intertwined in a good way. So I will give this episode 7/10.
