The shining first two parts
The
shining first two parts
Hai there,
I'm now in the third part of the book and I'm going to
give you guys an overview from what I have already read in this book.
Part one
So in this first part the situation of this family is
getting explained. The father with problems with agression and
alcohol, the mother who wanted to get away from it all and Danny the
child of this family.
Danny is “talented” he can see in the future Kind of
on command and can also read the minds of other people. Which is
kinda scary as I don't want someone else going trough my toughts.
Also Jack, the father of this family has gotten hired in the overlook
hotel.
I think that this book the characters get a better view
and exploitation than in the movie but thi is the exact commentary
that every bookreader has on a movie based on a movie. This chapter
is fairly short so there is not that long so there is not much to
talk about.
Part two
The family arrives in the overlook hotel, the big boss
takes a part of the tour and introduction the chef of this hotel
gives a tour in the kotchen and the grand fridge of the hotel. In
this fridge there is enough food to feed an army the size of China
for an entire year. The other part of the tour is being given by the
grandson of the original owner of this hotel.
The chef of the hotel is also “talented” and talks
about it with Danny on what he calls “the light”.
I personally think that this chapter of the book is good
preparation of what is to come in the rest of the book. Like when
Danny sees a blood mark on a wall and it dissappears when he doesn't
look anymore and then looks at it again. When he watches the spot
again, the spot is back but it is fresh.
