The mist episode 6: The devils you know

Now It is a long time since I watched an episode of this series but it wasn't that hard to get into as I got the storylines covered in my own content! The personal archive part of this blog has been achieved!

The episode follow ofcourse, the same routine as the previous episodes as our main couple is stuck in the hospital where a doctor has gone batshit crazy and is experimentting on the mist with already dying people.

Also the church is kind of a hotspot for activity this time! They're all so close to finding out what the mist wants from humanity and the crazy lady in the church might be closer to the truth that the pastor, the mist is going to weed out the bad ones. Given that the pastor is saying that the end of days is upon the world is kind of missing the entire point of the book of revelations. The minister boy goes full on lunatic and drags out the crazy female to the tower, things go sour for him as the lady breaks a window and lets the mist in.

The hospital on the other hand has its own crisis the generator goes out so the doors go open, for some reason. So they all have to flee. The lady from our main group has her own experience with the mist as she goes home with a car and meets the mist's version of her mother and plays on her feelings. The monster in the mist apparently plays on our own fears.
When she gets back the generators go out and they have to go out in the psych ward because there the doors never open.

In the mall a couple of things happen, namely the main female, takes her daughter to go shopping this leads to a split soon afterwards (in terms of group) the daughter goes to another store gets locked in and a fire starts why and how is kind of not revealed. One of the jocks saves her and she goes back to her “malltribe”. Her mother meanwhile is playing printerpress to give the people in the mall hope that they're gonna get out alive. By falsifying documents that the state guard is going to save them all.

My opinion about this episode is that finally something is happening in this series, character development is over seemingly or moved to the background of the entire plot. At least in this episode and things go nuts, finally. Like a proper Stephen King adaptation should. I give this episode a 8/10!
