Thor Ragnarok (2017) review

So I watched this movie, and I liked it because it was funny and not its usual facepalm humour that were used too in these movies but real kind of humour and like I've heard it somewhere before (I think it was wisecrack or something) that it knows itself. I mean the movie knows itself and makes kind of fun itself and I like it

So, this movie is about Thor, he fights some kind of devilfigure to stop ragnarok before he even knows he kinda having to prevent it.
Ofcourse, this devilfigure reveals that something isn't right about assgard and he returns home with the helmet of the devil so assgard can be save from Ragnarok.

He returns home and it is revealed that Loki is now being worshipped as a hero while he was supposedly died on this other planet in the last movie and there is like revealed that loki is running the show instead of Odin. With the treath of death ofcourse, so Thor is making loki find Odin and apparently he was dumped in a home of the elderly in New York.

But this building is being torn down. And there is no trace of Odin, this is where they meet Dr Strange as loki is wizared away to some kind of place. And there follows up a conversation between dr strange and Thor that he will not pose a threat (or loki) to earth. So Dr strange helps Thor and Loki to find Odin and he (Odin) speaks some profetic words about Ragnarok and that it cannot be avoided. Then ofcourse he dies and hela Thor and Loki's sister and a fight occuse breaking mjolnir in the proces. Also the bridge beams them up and both thor and Loki get tossed out of the beam.
This is where the story splits in 2. On one side we got hela trying to break assgard resistance,

Heimdal resisting this attempt at total control and saving as many of his people as he can (before evacuating when Hela finds their hideout.
And Thor and loki's storyline, they get on this planet called Sakaar where tournaments are held by the grandmaster and ofcourse Loki tricked his way into leadership of the planet and have a role in its leadership.

Thor has to fight in tournaments and eventually has to fight the hulk (he totally won that fight, if it wasn't for that tazering at the end!) and after the fight they live together for a while and Thor comes up with an escape plan which he does and takes a valkerie with him and ofcourse he finally calms the Hulk the fuck down and it is displayed that the hulk in his more human form is having doubts about going back to the hulk again what if he stays the hulk forever.

Part of the escape plan is to start a revolution for the slaves that has been kept in some kind of prison and the grandmaster doesn't like the word slaves but instead loves the word prisoners with jobs which is kind of funny to me in my opinion.

This is how the storylines combine again when Thor invades Assgard and takes it back with the help of the valkerie and the hulk and stuff and then loki and the wanna be revolutionairies from Sakaar show up and evacuate the citizens of Assgard as they actually have to start ragnarok to stop Hela.

My opinion about this movie is that it was certainly enjoyable to watch and it is an improvement to the previous avenger movie as it seems like it has matured more and get to know itself better like I said in the intro. I give this intro a 8/10 smashes
