The Butler (2011)
So I will keep this review short as this deals with touchy things
that I don't want to get to deep into because I don't want to hurt
people.
This movie follows a black man who's parents get either raped or killed on a cotton field in the south of the united states way after the slaves got freed.
So he gets invited into the house to be a house servant (not using the n word in here) and he gets taught from a young age to be a butler he escapes the cotton plantation and so climbs the ladder of the workplace. Eventually ending up as a butler in the white house.
He has started a family and here is where most of the drama comes in, his eldest son ends up in the black panther movement but has a change of heart after they plan killing people, his youngest son dies in vietnam. As a soldier.
We see all the social changes happening trough all the years and all the years and presidencies from the one after the second worldwar. All the way until reagan where the buttler's resigns and goes to live in a home where after a while he gets to meet Obama after that guy gets elected president.
Like I said, this is a short review, there isalot more to this movie than I listed and it kinda touch me, it gets alot of things that are touchy and most of the cast is very likeable and give this movie more and more credit. I Personally give this movie 8/10
