Bright (2017) a Netflix original

Hello there,
This movie is supposidly adapted from some anime something and I watched it and review it here

So this is set in an alternate universe where human history has not been altered that much but fairies are like cockroaches as they are pests and there are orcs and elves running around. The elves are economically doing well for themselves and have exclusive zones for themselves. Humans are some kind of middle class not mattering if they are black or white or bleu or whatever and you have the orcs, who are the lower class an heavely discriminated against.

Ofcourse this is a movie that has heavely social commentary, like the orcs that cile their teeth and chose not to be blooded "aren't orc" enough if they also try to fit in this world instead of following their clan ways. But we follow two police officers, a human one and an orc one that has gotten it because of the diversity programme and ofcourse the human officer get shot when the orc one is distracted.

This is where the story starts when the human officer gets back to work and gets back in trouble because of the racism against orcs, he gets teamed up again with the orc and other officers start scheming to get the orc fired over a magic wand that works a bit like the ring from the lord of the rings but there are some that can wield it but certainly not all people or elves can, but the majority of brights are elves. I don't know if orcs can use these wands or not the rules aren't explained that good in my opinion.

Then they get called for a job and everything goes wrong they crash a party and get captured after a bit by the orcs and because they also got an elve amongst their mids the orc officer gets killed in a blooding ritual bt the orc gets ressurected but the elf using her wand.
This is where the ending gets rolling and they return to the location where they found the elf and her wand to heal the elf and the situation goes wrong one last time and stuff

I think this movie was a bit enjoyable to watch as it is a classic cop movie but the fact that this is set in an alternate universe made this movie a bit more enjoyable to watch and the social commentary is even a big plus. I give this movie a 6.5/10 fairytales oh and by the way its live action
