All woman and springtime By brandon Jones, A review

Like with the article of the rise of evil I will publish the entire review and a “gold edition” but first the complete review. I must say beforehand that this book is a bit of a tear jerker. And I am certainly not the touchy type. and by the way, I am skipping the report of the fourth part because I might very well publish this instead and just have one article less for the gold edition :)

Well we start the book with some backstory and in an orphanage at the same time, the story gets bound together quite quickly. The story is about two girls that are unlucky (to north korean standards) and lost their family even tough one of the two comes from a high ranking family.

They (il sun and gi gyong go ) form a friendship that would last a lifetime. Il sun is very goodlooking and that is why she hangs around a guy who calls himself gianni for some reason. And that is how they get sold to a south korean man because they get tricked and gi wouldn't let sun go for any reason. Il sun still hopefull that they would go to china and start a better life there together with gianni gets dissappointed rather quickly when they found out that they get sold and are going to be forced to perform sexual acts. Il sun even gets raped by her “master” and gets pregnant before they get sold again because of an escape attempt to a japanese guy and they get transported via boat to seattle where there are put to work again in a whore house.

There Il sun is forced to undergo an abortus trough some kind of morning after pills. She develosp a drug addiction she loses her shit to the boss of this entire operation and gets thrown out and disappears.

After an attack on this headquarters by a rival gang gi and cho are also able to escape, tough gi escapes first gets to know the homeless world and sees that north korea isn't the most developed country in the world. She looks for il sun but fails, goes to the local library in her freetime and learns alot about math and natural science.

One day she finds cho and together they do the same. Find a job, look for il sun and go to the library. Life goes on and gi gets picked up by a proffessor because she solved some kind of mathematical paradox. Gets to explain how she found the solution when she gets notified that Il sun is in a hospital, they run to the rescue and they found her laying in her deadbed. Gi suggles her until she dies.

Gi goes to university after her dead and cries everytime when she sees a particular girl that looks entirely like il-sun. Oh and btw, cho is going to marry someone, my theory is that shes going to marry Gi because it has been hinted that go is in love with il sun and stuff.

My opinion is that this book is very readable. I'm giving this an 9,5/10 because il sun died! I didn't want her to die but every happy ending needs to have a dark side I suppose.
