300 (the movie)

Hello there,

this is one of the other movies I decided to rewatch because I wanted to and because I have this platform for reviewing I say that I post this reviewing on this platform!

So here we go, this movie tells the story of what happend at the battle of the hotgates between the greeks, a formation of the arkadians and the spartans against the persians from the perspective of the spartans.

Now this is ofcourse as you might already assumed from the previous paragraph, this is extragated a whole lot, in fact they were with around 7000 greeks with alot more of other tribes than the arkadians and the Spartans. But they had the chance for four days but they didn't leading to a battle indeed, the thing is that Xerxes is portraited quite correctly in the form of character. Meaning that he really tought of himself as the king og kings (in persia he was ofcourse) and a god. He had a bad temper and even having a bad mood because the water didn't let itself be commanded on one time.

When the battle was over at the hotgates he even went against Persian tradition of fallian enemies who fought bravely, and decapitated Leonidas and crixified the dead body because they really did lose quite alot of soldiers!
this is the testament of how a tactical and more technologically advance people (because of the material of the shields for example) can outdo a simple horde

I have a couple of more notices about the movie, they didn't run around naked like in the movie, they did almost have fully plated armor! and most of the non spartans did not retreat like in the movie but also stayed.

I give this movie however because its so pro greek a 6,5 but 7 for not completly whitewashing the persion army (look at them in detail! they're not all brown!) but anyway stupid betrayals!
