The Stonehearst Asylum review (2014)

A movie based on the work of famous American author Edgar Allen Poe, it truely comes with a twist, no twists. Anw I enjoyed the ending twist
Okay so we begin in the time napoleon was barely defeated in oxfor at a medical thing universitywhere future doctors recieve a lesson about mental illnes, well what mental illness was back in the 1900's.
On christmas day a doctor from oxford arrives at stonehearst asylum to do an internship. He has difficulties arriving because of the snow and when he does arrive, it does seem that noone gets in because of our security.
He does some work there, with the man in charge of the asylum. But he soon discovers that the lunatics have staged a rebellion and are now in charge. He tracks a lady down that doesn't seem on her place in that place, it was common practice to put female's in an asylum because of female hysteria, but she is sane as you and I.
And he comes in a plan with wich the doctors could escape. All his planning goes good, and 2 manage to escape but die because they're caught and kinda killed by our security guard. and then because all of the new year celebrations he manages to escape with the girl, and here comes the first twist hes not a doctor at all and he was copying the identity from the person who was giving the lecture.
My opinion is that tough the story is quite cliché I still liked it and I liked both twists at the end I reward this movie with an 7/10. Next review coming up is the escape by cl taylor
