A short review about Gravity (2013)
This is a pretty recent movie, oh wait 2013 is already 4 years ago? time goes by so fast.... Anyway this is going to be an even shorter review than normal as there is nothing much to say about the movie rather than the special effects are pretty stunning
We find ourself at some form of reparation or refitting of the hubble telescope at the beginning of the movie until the Russians blow up one of their own satelites which shatters into chuncks of debris and now its a race trough time for the only 2 survivors working right about there to escape, they find some cheap jump scares along the way spoiler: George clooney sacrefices himself to save Sandra bullocks character!
The rest of the movie is about the lady going back to earth with the international space station? I was like huh wow this is a boring movie, I clearly remember that everyone was getting such a hype before and after seeing the movie while there is absolutly no story to this movie at all. Some cliche backstory is given about the two main people in the movie one is a doctor who's daughter had died in some simple and preventable accident and now has nothing better to do with her free time than drive around with a car and the guy that saved the car driving doctor is a macho that constantly brags about his bullshit stories. And that is about it, I don't understand how and even why they made a profit of 632 million dollars on this 91 minute piece of shit!
This story is as good as the scaryness in the scary movies so honestly I can only give this move a 3 out of 10 spacemonkeys as honestly I still can't get over the fact how little story there is to this movie.
